The Tethered Aerostat product line is the result of our long experience with tethered blimps and aerostats in our inflatable product line. With five different large systems and seven standard small systems and our ability and willingness for customization we meet our customer’s mission requirements, however challenging. Proprietary, lightweight fabrics increase lift capabilities while decreasing the aerostat size. These tethered aerostat systems can be tailored to meet any challenging operational environment.
Aerostar is the premier high altitude operations balloon and airship manufacturer in the world. We are the only manufacturer to have actually operated a powered airship in the stratosphere and we’ve been there 3 times. The Aerospace product lines include free-floating high-altitude scientific balloons, military-balloons, airships, space inflatables, interplanetary balloons, and payload recovery parachutes.
